This morning, reading through 1 Corinthians 15 in my devotions I was blessed by three verses—10, 33 & 58, and I felt a nudge to share it with you. The first, a word of inspiration. Paul says, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain.” Did not prove vain. Inspired!! Second, a word of caution: “Do not be deceived: ‘Bad company corrupts good morals.’” A word to the wise, I think. And third, a word of encouragement: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.” Your toil is not in vain!! I was blessed by these three verses today, I hope they bless, inspire and encourage you as well. As Fanny Crosby writes: “Never give up, never give up, Never give up to thy sorrows,
Jesus will bid them depart; Trust in the Lord, trust in the Lord, Sing when your trials are greatest,Trust in the Lord and take heart.”
Many blessings!
